Technology Integration Strategic Planning ePortfolio

Strategic Advantages & Challenges

Strategic Advantages
We can build or expand our teachers as lifelong learners to overcome our professional development/technology training. We can leverage the good technology department given our relationship(s)/partnership(s) with them available in our schools/district to collaborate to begin integrating technology into active learning environments, one classroom or grade at a time.

We can leverage COVID-19 given our relationship(s)/partnership(s) with our schools/district technology department.

We can build or expand our recently learned technology skills (during COVID-19) to overcome our limited number of tech-savvy school/district teachers. We can leverage our available technology resources and tools given our relationship(s)/partnership(s) with parents, administration, and the technology departments.

Strategic Challenges
If we don’t address the issue of lack of time teachers have during a 40-hour week, we can’t be the school/department/district we aspire to be.

If we could only address these important priorities, we would become a school/department/district characterized by less teacher burnout, teachers having quality time during the scheduled school days to improve on technology skills…, and teachers not giving away their valuable time after schooldays to accomplish other duties.

If we don’t address technology training, we can’t be the school/department we aspire to be.

If we don’t address student/parental distractions brought on by lengthy quarantining from the COVID-19 pandemic, we can’t be the school/department we aspire to be.
